How the Ride began...
  It began with a spark
  and a handful of passion
  just over two years ago.
  Out of the dark,
  rose a flame of compassion
  that became a steady glow.
  What could we do
with only two wheels to ride
  and hearts demanding justice?
  Well before we knew,
  we’d crossed the countryside,
  consecrating vales and summits.
  With fans of fervor,
  God ignited our hearts
  and set the trail ablaze.
  Something started to stir
  throughout all the parts
and a bold call was raised:
“He has sent us to bind up,
heal, and proclaim the good news
that we are no longer captive to darkness.
  Dear church, rise up!
  and against slumber choose
to be a father to the fatherless.
Hear the cries of the orphans and widows—
do not turn and cover your ears!
lest innocents fall into the hands of evil
and be sold for a price in the shadows,
be the voice for silent tears
and strength for the weak and feeble.”
  This is the fiery call
God has incited us to answer—
not just riding bikes through the nation,
  but to give our all
  and fight until humanity’s cancer
is swallowed up in His heart’s conflagration.
