About This Fundraiser
While running this race I'll be keeping the children I teach at Sungnowon Orphanage in mind, for them to have the opportunity to attend college once they graduate high school. One girl in particular, Ahyoung, currently in 8th grade has been on my heart lately. Recently, she has been sharing many worries about the future and feels anxious about what will happen when she graduates high school. Left without many other options, girls are especially most vulnerable to falling prey to prostitution. While I run, I will be remembering Ahyoung and many others like her, praying that she be filled with peace and not fear, to grow in her true identity in the LORD, and to be able to receive a scholarship in the future to pursue college and follow the God-given calling placed upon her life.
My fundraising goal is 6,000,000 KRW, (about $6,000. to cover the cost for one scholarship for one student per year)
