Joy in the R.A.T. Race!

Hey everyone,

When I came back from the cycling campaign with Ride Against Traffick 2014, I felt God putting it on my heart to raise more support for the Oak Tree Project.

Oak Tree Project is doing amazing things for orphans in Korea! This program provides 1-on-1 mentoring for orphan college students and scholarships for living expenses so students can focus on their studies instead of working shady late-night jobs, where they can become susceptible to sex trafficking. Why am I running this R.A.T. Race? Well, I figure if there's anything worth beating my body into submission for, it's for the cause of justice. Every child is unique and filled with dreams for the future, but these orphan students are at risk of falling into the wrong things because of their lack of support networks. God calls us to be a father to the fatherless and He promises to set the lonely in families, and I believe we can be the hands and feet to support them.

RUN AGAINST TRAFFICK (R.A.T.) RACE 2014

On Saturday, November 15, 2014, we are running the Run Against Traffick (R.A.T.) Race to raise funds for the Oak Tree Project, a scholarship and mentorship program for orphans in South Korea. Our goal is to raise $80,000 for 13 orphan college students. Please support us in keeping our students in school and out of working in night clubs, bars, and lounges. To run, you can sign up for the 5K, 10K, Half-marathon, or Full marathon. The registration fee is ₩33,000 and the deadline for sign-ups is November 3, 2014.
