Half Marathon for Oak Tree

About This Fundraiser
How do you get a nation to care about orphans and human trafficking victims? I had no clue, but out of a lot of prayer Ride Against Traffick was born. It turns out that mass participation sporting events help break the ice and get the conversation started. Ride Against Traffick events also get people involved in the movement to care for orphans and trafficking victims.
Joy Choi participated in the Ride Against Traffick as a support team member. After the ride she became the driving force behind the Run Against Traffick. It was too late to plan our own marathon, but she worked it out for us to join an existing marathon. On Nov 15th 266 of us will be raising money and running in shirts to raise awareness about Oak Tree Project an orphan scholarship and mentoring program. Who knows how many we'll have next year, but I'm guessing over 1000. The year after that even more. But that isn't the coolest part, with each event more and more people like Joy Choi will catch the vision to take action to help orphans and trafficking victims in Korea.
Someday the nation will awaken to the need.Someday every orphan in Korea will have a family and there won't be any more trafficking victims. Why I am running? Every event gets us closer. Every event draws someone new into the cause. I'm running a half marathon because I've joined the movement to do what I can to care for orphans and trafficking victims.
All funds will go to Oak Tree project to give orphans a mentor and pay for living expenses so they can make it through college.
