About This Fundraiser

Dear family and friends,

I am running my first ever 10k as part of the Run Against Traffick (R.A.T.) team on Saturday, November 15, and I would love your support!! I am not a runner - in fact, I really dislike running - but if I'm going to run, then it better be for a good cause.

Actually, it's for a great cause.

The other participants and myself will be running to raise funds and awareness for Oak Tree Project, a scholarship and mentorship program for orphan college students in Korea. For those of you unfamiliar with the system here, when orphans graduate high school, they no longer receive support from the government and job opportunities for them are few. Therefore, many of them become vulnerable to human trafficking. But Oak Tree Project is helping to end this problem. They are giving the students in their program hope - allowing them to focus on their studies and dream of a better future.

However, education doesn't come cheap, so I hope that you can join me in supporting this cause financially. My personal goal is 300,000 won, and I would greatly appreciate any donation. Thank you for your time, and for more information on Oak Tree Project, please visit www.oaktreeproject.com.

Most Sincerely,
Christine Chun
