About This Fundraiser

In 2012 and 2013, I had the opportunity to go to Cambodia on a missions trip. While I was there, I visited the 333 red light district. Both of the times I was there, I met with the woman in the picture. We will call her Mum Mum. Through the time I spent with her, I fell in love with the person she is. Though she has had her heart broken and has very little to offer, she is kindhearted and generous. Now it is time for me to stand up, put on my running shoes, and do my part to prevent others from living in a similar situation as Mum Mum. Will you help me?

The Oak Tree project is a scholarship fund designed to help Korean orphans go to university when they graduate high-school. After graduating high school, these children are on their own and are no longer able to stay in the children homes. They receive a small stipend to start their lives as adults, and the orphanage will help them find work and a place to live; but they are vulnerable and can become victims of human trafficking. Let's work together to keep these kids from experiencing this kind of life. To find out more information about the Oak Tree Project, please visit their website at: http://www.oaktreeproject.com/

Thanks for your prayers and your support! Fighting the fight together. Ann
