Hey everyone!
I'm riding with a team from Busan to Seoul, Oct. 6-9, with the hopes of raising greater awareness about widespread human trafficking within Korea. While prostitution may be illegal in SK, the underground sex industry thrives, and the demand for sex workers is correspondingly rampant, thanks in no small part to corporate culture. There are certainly those who choose to go into this industry, but a large percentage of sex workers are vulnerable and/or trafficked women, such as orphan girls. Once they are in this business, they are essentially owned by pimps, and escape becomes extremely dangerous and difficult. And it's on the behalf of such women, who are often stigmatized, that I'd like to speak out.
This is my small way of trying to effect change for those who have been trafficked and are susceptible to trafficking. I hope you'll join me in both prayer and fundraising, 100% of which will go to 1) Hope Be Restored: an organization that works directly with trafficked victims 2) Oak Tree Project: a scholarship program for orphans that helps prevent them from becoming victims.

Ride Against Traffick 2017 소개
The Ride Against Traffick is a four day, 550km bike ride from Busan to Seoul intended to raise awareness of the problem of human trafficking in South Korea and to fight it.
Your donations will go to two great organizations who are actively working to combat this modern-day evil: Hope Be Restored, which is one of the leading anti-trafficking ministries in Korea, and Oak Tree Project, which is a scholarship and mentoring program for orphans in Korea. The ride costs are paid completely by the participants and sponsors, so 100% of the money we receive from your donation will go straight to these organizations.
