About This Fundraiser

Human trafficking is still a stark reality in our generation. With more than 40 million people currently enslaved throughout the world, it is the world's fastest growing criminal enterprise and has become an estimated $32 billion-a-year global industry. From boys used on fishing boats in Ghana to girls prostituting themselves in bars in the Dominican Republic to whole families forced into labor in factories in India, slavery exists in every country in the world—but it doesn’t have to, and we have the power to make a difference.

Cycle for Justice is a 3 day, 270 kilometer cycling event seeking to raise awareness and funds for wiping out human trafficking in Korea and beyond. From Sept. 24-26, 2018, a team of riders and support crew will be travelling along the North Korean border and through the vast countryside of South Korea to engage the media and the public, especially in the area of women being forced into prostitution. Now in its 7th year (also known as Ride Against Traffick), we are once again asking for your support and partnership in this endeavor.

Ten years ago, when I first got into cycling, I never thought this passion would be used for the cause of a greater good. 100% of proceeds will go to the following organizations that engage in human trafficking: Oak Tree Project, House of Hope, and Do Dream Children’s Center. Links with more information about these groups can be found at https://cycleforjustice.wordpress.com/ Please pray for the safety, unity, and welfare of our team.
