Kevin's Ride Against Traffick Fundraiser
This fundraiser supports Ride Against Traffick 2016
About This Fundraiser
In 2014 I embarked on a cross country bike ride to help raise awareness and money for victims of sex trafficking. In 2015, I missed the Ride due to the birth of my son. This year, I will be riding again, and with your help, can raise a lot of money toward two great causes.
The first organization is Oak Tree Project, which is a college scholarship program for Korean orphans who are accepted into university. When orphans turn 18, the government essentially gives them $5,000 and says "good luck." Because of this, many orphans, specifically girls, are vulnerable to falling into sex trafficking. (http://www.oaktreeproject.com/about-us/)
The second organization is HOPE Be Restored, which is an organization dedicated to fighting sex trafficking through church activism, public advocacy, and partnering with organizations in areas with high volumes of sex trafficking, such as in Thailand or Cambodia. (http://www.hopeberestored.org/)
Sex trafficking is truly a modern day form of slavery. With your help, we can try to help eradicate sex trafficking while raising awareness for the issue.

About Ride Against Traffick 2016
The Ride Against Traffick is a four day, 550km bike ride from Busan to Seoul intended to raise awareness of the problem of human trafficking in South Korea and to fight it.
Your donations will go to two great organizations who are actively working to combat this modern-day evil: Hope Be Restored, which is one of the leading anti-trafficking ministries in Korea, and Oak Tree Project, which is a scholarship and mentoring program for orphans in Korea. The ride costs are paid completely by the participants and sponsors, so 100% of the money we receive from your donation will go straight to these organizations.
